The Northern Lancaster Hub and the Ephrata Public Library partnered with Creator Barber Shop, to provide FREE back to school supplies and haircuts.

On Sunday, August 26th from 9am-1pm, these organizations came together and donated over $600 dollars to the community.

Parents and K-12 students enjoyed the evening with music, games, face painting, and arts & crafts to shake away these serious “Sunday Scaries” before their first day of school. Students from Lancaster, Denver, and Ephrata area took advantage of our event.

Ephrata Public Library program manager, Rebecca Lawrence, stated “We were super excited to partner up with Joselito from Creator Barber Shop. We want to cater our programs to everyone in the community. To best do this, we need to get out in front of our community and gauge their interest.”

Aromas Del Sur and Conscious Community Wear also provided support to the team of volunteers. Northern Lancaster Hub understands that if we want to see our community rise, locals must help locals. We are essentially a group of neighbors helping neighbors.
